Meet Our Pastor

Rev. David Haley

Rev. David Haley is an ordained Elder in the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. A native of Cheraw, South Carolina he is a graduate of Cheraw High School, earned his B.A. Degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida; his Master of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC; and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry Degree program at Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio.  Previous appointments in the United Methodist Church include Littleton UMC (2002-2007), Winstead UMC in Wilson (2007-2011), and Oxford UMC (2011 - 2016). He also previously served several Baptist churches as Youth Minister or Pastor, and served the Oak Level Christian Church of Youngsville as Pastor (1993-2002). Pastor Haley is a world traveler having visited more than 45 countries. He is active in mission work in El Salvador in Central America, in Sri Lanka in Asia, and in the North Carolina Conference. His wife, Binky, is an accountant. The Haleys have three married children (two daughters and a son) and five granddaughters. Pastor Haley also previously served on the field staff of Prison Fellowship Ministries and on the international staff of Habitat for Humanity International.
